- Manages the website, social media, and visual identity of the local
- Monitors the Education Research Presentation Grants
- Presents Maternity Leave Workshop/Sessions

- Creates and submits the Annual Report to Provincial
- Coordinates Executive and Committee elections with the Chief Returning Officer
- Liaises with the building management, IT, and telecommunications companies and handles the day-to-day general operations, including OH&S
- Responsible for the sourcing and procuring office supplies, furniture, and fixtures and assists with asset management and service agreements
- Coordinates the Annual Representative Assembly delegate selection, document preparation, and pre-meeting organization and submission of documents to Provincial
- Supports the ARA, Constitutional Interpretation & Review, Hospitality, Resolutions, and Teacher Welfare Committees and the Negotiating Sub Committee
- Organizes the Executive Retreat and Summer Conference
- Organizes the New Teachers' Orientation, ATA/CBE Trustees Dinner, and New Principals’ Dinner
- Assists with the New Teachers’ Induction and New Horizons Banquet
- Assists with planning of CSR Orientation and General Meetings
- Liaises with Provincial and Calgary Board of Education
- Manages the Local’s general office inbox

- Responsible for all of the Accounting/Finance functions for the local
- Inservice’s and educates the Treasurer on the finances of the local
- Manages all aspects (assisting teachers, receiving applications, and approving authorizations as per guidelines) of the Staff Development Fund
- Maintains data base of eligibility and approved funding
- Disburses funds following receipt of expenses
- Prepares reports relating to Staff Development Fund and Local Financials (monthly statements, annual budget, and year-end audits)
- Serves on Finance and Staff Development Advisory Committee as a non-voting member and secretary
- Manages and processes grant-in-aid, donations, scholarships, MEAF and payroll (salary, benefits, pension, CRA)

- Responsible for all reception duties including answering phone calls, managing and distributing incoming and outgoing mail
- Scheduling and maintaining meeting facilities at the Local office
- Responsible for organizing Council of School Representatives elections, maintains CSR list and distributes information to CSR representatives
- Supports the Communications, Diversity Equity & Human Rights, Professional Development, Political Action, Scholarship, Strategic Planning & Resource, Women in Leadership Committees, Substitute Teachers’ Group Directorate and their respective subcommittees by preparing online meetings, agendas, minutes, and meeting materials
- Assists and coordinates with the PD Committee, DEHR Committee, STG Directorate, Women in Leadership and PAC Committees with workshop/event planning, bookings, advertisement materials and registrations
- Assists with material distribution and preparation for the CSR and General Meetings
- Receives and processes the Local 38 Heritage Scholarship, the John Laurie Scholarship, the Black Canadian Scholarship, and the 2SLGBTQQIA+ Scholarship
- Responsible for updating and maintaining the local website
- Responsible for updating and maintaining the Calgary Public Teachers Local 38 PD Review website
- Responsible for updating and maintaining the Local 38 Square merchandise site as well as distributing orders
- Updates and maintains the committee lists and attendance sheets
- Assists with Executive and Committee elections
- Creates and maintains the Local meeting and event calendar
- Creates social media materials
- Assists provincial ATA with the annual Retirement seminar
